Troubleshooting: How to Fix "Failed to Connect" with PrintPen, PrintPods, and PrintInd
Troubleshooting: Failed to Connect PrintPen, PrintPods, or PrintInd
This tutorial is applicable for PrintPen, PrintPods, and PrintInd handheld printers. If the app displays "Connection Failed" or "Printer Not Found" after correctly downloading the EVEBOT Handheld Printer app, please verify the following:
Steps to Resolve Connection Issues:
- Ensure that your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
- Confirm that the Handheld Printer is powered on.
- Try turning the Handheld Printer off and then back on.
If issues persist, the app may lack the necessary permissions, preventing communication with the Handheld Printer. Check if permissions have been granted. You can go to your phone's “Settings” to find the app and enable permissions, especially "Connect to Nearby Devices." If you're unsure how to do this, you may delete the app and follow these steps:
Additional Steps:
1. Reinstall the app. Refer to this link or consult the paper manual. | 2. Agree to the "Privacy Policy". Some devices may display the policy in Chinese. Click "同意" (Agree). You can also view the English version via the provided link. |
3. Allow Bluetooth Permissions (iOS). iOS users should click to allow Bluetooth connection. | 4. For Android Users: Manually ensure Bluetooth is turned on and allow permissions for “find and connect to nearby devices.” |
5. Grant Location Access (Android). Grant location access if prompted, which is required for Bluetooth scanning on Android. | 6. Search for EVE Bluetooth Signals. If the Handheld Printer is still not connecting, manually search for Bluetooth signals starting with "EVE." |
Successful Connection:
Once connected, you will see the printing task interface for the Handheld Printer. Note that the interface may vary slightly between app versions.
