EB-FC Ink Installation and Maintenance (Cleaning the Printhead)

The EB-FC color coffee printer ink cartridge is integrated with an advanced three-color printhead/nozzle. Proper maintenance is crucial, particularly regular wiping.

Follow these steps when installing a new ink cartridge or if you notice blurry prints or missing nozzles.

1. Remove the cartridge clip. 2. Remove the blue tape. 3. Check if the nozzles are clean. (Note: Nozzles are not visible to the naked eye, but the metal pieces shown are the nozzles.)

4. Use a soft, clean tissue to wipe the nozzles in one direction only.

Do not wipe back and forth.

5. After wiping, you should see red, blue, and yellow ink on the tissue.

Ensure the printhead is clean before installing the ink cartridge in the printer.

 6. Open the plastic cover inside the printer, insert the cartridge with the printhead facing downward, press down, and close the plastic cover. You’re all set.

Daily Maintenance (Cleaning the Printhead)

Although our ink formula and cartridges ensure smooth printing, we recommend cleaning the nozzles daily.

1. Remove the ink cartridge. 2. Prepare a soft, clean tissue. 3. Gently wipe the nozzles.

4. Reinstall the ink cartridge in the printer. 5. Perform a print test. If the print is clear and smooth, you’ve done a great job!
